1. I plan to do Check for Understandings where students provide an extended written response to a prompt on a slip of paper. They will then turn those in and I will provide either individual feedback or group feedback depending on the topic or deficits identified.
2. Self assessment on 4 point scale. I plan to have students to do quick self assessments on a 4 point scale that science discussed. 1 = Just getting started; 2 = On my way; 3= I get it and can do it; 4 = I can teach someone else how to do it.
3. Web of knowledge chart paper using scenarios or prompts that assess their level of understanding.
